Okay, the latest evening time waster for me is overheardinnewyork.com. The premise is simple: People overhear some fragment of a wacked-out conversation, then turn around and submit it to this site. The overheard conversations are sometimes a bit vulgar (warning! not necessarily a work or kid-friendly site!), sometimes politically (ahem!) incorrect, and always hilarious (in or) out of context. It’s my secret little piece of “the best city on the planet” without having to pay the outrageous rent.
