Today I completely mucked up Reese’s sense of schedule for feedings and naps due to a previously scheduled doctor appointment. She was actually great for the car ride to the office, and was a total angel for the visit.
The car ride home was another story. Nearly 9 miles of crying. That is, until “War Pigs” came on.
Granted, it was the Cake version of “War Pigs” [listen now]. But either way, the first 20 seconds of music shut her down and caught her attention. And she didn’t just go to sleep, she was wide eyed and awake….and quiet.
